All of Ethergia once prospered under the Zudekha Civiliztion a long time ago. Those blissful days ended when Thanatos, the holy Empire's ultimate weapon went berserk and ruined our world. The Zudheka Civilization was destroyed by Thanatos's mana explosion which also released charged ions that mutated benign wildlife into bloodthirsty monsters.

Those nasty creatures have grown into a bigger problem as more and more of them appear.
